Ten Golden Rules

TOP 10 RULES FOR EVERYONE IN ROOM 42:
  1. Treat everyone with respect; be kind and helpful.
  2. Leave your cell phones and other electronic devices out of sight and out of hearing; otherwise, I will take it from you!
  3. Use appropriate language at all times; behave like the lady or gentleman that you can be.
  4. Do not put others down and hurt their feelings.  No one is perfect, including your teachers!
  5. Keep gum out of your mouth.  It is bad manners to chew during any type of professional environment.
  6. Come to class prepared.  Do not "borrow" pens, papers, or any other materials from your classmates or teacher because it is not their responsibility to provide you with what you need for class.
  7. Always think before you act.  You are the only person responsible for your actions and behavior.
  8. Clean up after yourself, and yes, it's all right to pick up someone else's mess at times and help others clean.
  9. Be patient; your turn will come!
  10. There is no drinking or eating in the classroom, and yes, that includes water.
