About The Teacher

This is Mrs. Cohen's fifteenth year as a full-time teacher after spending two

years as a substitute. She originally came from the New York City area,

where her family still lives. After earning her BA in Theatre Arts from

Brandeis University in 1989, she packed up her car and moved to Los Angeles.

She went through a few interesting jobs (waitress, insurance investigator,

chef, tarot card reader) before settling in as a talent agent. Show business

soon soured for her, and she turned to the profession of most of her family,

teaching. Mrs. Cohen loves teaching, and is looking forward to another great

year at Millikan. She resides in Van Nuys with her husband, Jonathan, and their chocolate lab, Brody. She is usually in a good mood, but when either the New York Yankees, the New York Knicks, The New York Islanders, or the New York Giants lose, WATCH OUT!
