HISTORY SPRING VACATION HOMEWORK (due 4/22)
- Chandragupta and Asoka Biography Bubble Maps (Ch 4 sect 3) You can create one bubble map on each side of a piece of paper. Read about them where they are highlighted AND read their biographies! Choose the most important information to include (about 10 bubbles each)
- Work on the Ch. 4 India Notes Packet. This will be due about a week after the break. Please note: I have the review worksheets and you will get them back after the break. Also, we have not completed the Indian Achievements G. O., Ch. 4.3 review worksheet, nor the Ch. 4 Review assignment. We will work on those in class after the break.
*****EXTRA CREDIT due 4/22- must be a FINAL DRAFT product! This means you have edited, revised, and typed or rewritten it neatly in blue or black ink!
**1. India Rhyming Song or Rap- Complete a rhyming song or rap about what we have learned about Ancient India. Include, underline, and show the meaning of at least 10 vocabulary words from the chapter. Remember: the rhymes go at the ends of lines and there should not be off topic information.
**2. Creative Research Project- Choose a few of the people and/ or achievements of Ancient Egypt or Ancient India that interest you. Do some more research about them from at least 2 sources OTHER THAN the textbook (use the LAUSD Digital Library, the links on the textbook’s website, and/ or WebPath Express from the library’s website). Include and underline at least 8 vocabulary words from the chapter in your project. Be creative, add visuals as well as written information, document sources used, and write everything in your own words! Create one of the following to show and tell about the information you learn:

HISTORY Winter Break Homework DUE Monday, January 7:
- Complete Chapter 3 Section 3 Vocabulary List. Remember to follow the same directions we have in the past: rewrite the terms, write page numbers where they are highlighted, copy complete glossary or gazetteer definitions, include extra details from the text in note form
- Make a LIST of all Chapter 3 assignments. Study, organize, and add to your Chapter 3 notes and assignments. We will finish up chapter 3 the week after break, and there will be a notes packet due about a week later.
