Millikan Middle School Spring Film Festival! We will have a reception in room 17 for all 6th grade film academy students as well as incoming 6th grade film academy students starting at 6:00pm.
The festival will begin promptly at 7pm in Burrill Hall! I can't wait to screen our new film "Out of Order" as well as several student projects from this semester.
Tickets are $5 at the door.

Hollywood Shorts Film Festival! Congratulations! Slenderman has been selected for a screening at this film festival in Hollywood!
Who: All of the 6th grade Film Academy Students are invited to take part in this event!
Where: Dim Mak Studios
6356 Hollywood Blvd, upstairs

Reception and Filmmaker Interviews are at 4pm

LACHSA Live! Meet at LACHSA at the ticket booth at 11:15am and we'll go in together to check out the workshops and performances. This event goes all day and ends with a huge performance event (tickets to the performance are extra). Stay as long as you like (I have to get back to the school by 3pm to help out with the spring dance show).

Field trip to the Digital Voice Awards! We will be leaving at the START of 6th period and taking a bus to the Los Angeles County of Education Offices for the awards ceremony from 3:15-4:30pm. We will be leaving directly after the event and hopefully making it back to Millikan by 6:00pm. Please plan on picking up your children from the school at 6pm!
